Servo Press

Servo presses are different from traditional mechanical presses. The flywheel, brake, and clutch are replaced by a servo motor that precisely controls the energy output. In addition, the servo motor enables the press to work at a variety of stroke lengths. The press can even reach a micron-level slide accuracy more versatility in drawing and forming of complex parts but they’re slow.
The position of the press ram is specified by the servomotor control. The entire force-distance curve of the press ram is monitored and controlled in the software via the envelope curve and/or window technology. The position and its time derivatives, such as velocity, of a mechanical system.
